Victorias Secret limited edition Leave Me Breathless Body wash and Body mist

I got two products in this scent the body wash and the body mist. I found these while browsing  the sale. There were very few left and I loved the fresh scent. Although it has the strong flowery smell of  the Freesia once the freesia dies down a bit it turns into an  amazing fresh scent that is great for when you come right out of the shower.
From our limited-edition Fresh Collection. Infuse your bath or shower with this bright blend of ocean breeze and freesia. Lather over body with washcloth or sponge for gently cleansed, lightly moisturized skin.

The body wash isn't very moisturizing but it is great for  cleaning  you skin of oil and stripping it of any excess grease and dirt  with the added  freesia scent of course. I see this body wash as being more cleansing than moisturizing. This body wash  creates a rich lather of ocean breeze and  freesia to cleanse your entire body. I fell in  love with the scent the minute I applied it on my skin. Although beware if what you are looking for  is a moisturizing body  wash this might not be for you. Now if you are  looking  for that squeaky clean feeling when you come out of the shower this is a great product for that. It totally strips your skin  of any grease and leaves a great Fresh scent.

From our limited-edition Fresh Collection. Refresh skin with this bright blend of ocean breeze and freesia. Soothing mist, with moisturizing aloe vera and calming chamomile, leaves skin kissed with softness and sensuous scent. Mist on after shower or bath.

The body mist smells just as great as the body wash and just  spray it all over your body for that great just-came-out-of-the-shower scent. The body mist is very long  lasting. It is mostly made up of alcohol and water but it is infused with chamomile which is calming and aloe vera  which is slightly moisturizing. Its just a really good smelling body mist.

Victorias Secret Shea Butter Soft Embrace Review

Secret Garden Collection Shea Butter Soft Embrace Deep-nourishing Hand and Body Cream

Experience the rich, pure indulgence of deeply moisturizing shea butter. Intensive formula
conditions as it nourishes with avocado oil. Leaves skin softly cleansed and luxurious, infusing your bath or shower with sensual scent. Domestic. 8.4 oz.

This product smells so good. I love how Victoria's Secret has this new shea butter line. It has the nice moisturizing  properties of shea butter without the stench. This has more of a sweeter fragrance. It does not smell like natural unrefined shea  butter. The cream is not as thick as other shea butters it glides on smoothly and I love the smell. It is actually  pretty strong  and  lingers around a bit it takes a while to  wear off. Its very smooth and a bit greasy when you first put it on. Slowly as your skin absorbs it the smell settles down a bit but its still really good. I am really wowed  by this product. I have been searching for shea butter that smelled good and easily glided all over the skin. This moisturized  my skin very well and got rid of all those rough  patches. I  love to rub it deeply into areas that I know are very dry and  it works very well. It is no where as greasy as the Body Shop Shea butter but it is very emollient. If you have  very dry skin The Body Shop Shea Butter might  be a better alternative. This is an amazing shea butter for  every season.  It also makes your skin super soft. VS creams usually are thicker than VS lotions that is why I opted for the cream. It leaves a nice creamy, smooth, soft texture to your skin. I was actually surprised by this cream because Victorias Secret doesn't seem like a place you would  buy these types of products. It was a  good surprise.

The Body Shop Brush Roll Review

Description: This pretty and practical brush roll contains five essential make-up tools, including our award-winning, cruelty-free makeup brushes that are gentle on the skin and more durable than animal hair. Brushes stand on aluminum handles.
Set includes:
  • Brow & Lash Comb
  • Smudger
  • Lip/Concealer Brush
  • Eyeshadow Brush
  • Blusher Brush
  • Pretty satin pouch

I was a bit skeptical about this brush roll at first. I wasn't sure if the brushes were going to be good but I have heard good things about The Body Shop brushes. Also, I didn't really like that the roll had colored glitter bow on it as a decorative accent piece. But I bought it on sale for 1/2 off to give it a try. It only cost me $7.50 and I loved it! It was better than I had expected. loved how soft the brushes felt against my skin. The bristles are made of synthetic materials because The Body Shop is against animal testing. I felt that the brushes did what they were supposed to do. I loved the shape, thickness, and overall look of the handles. The brushes look and feel like quality brushes. They don't look cheap. It brings a smudger which allows you to do a smoky eye or to smudge your eyeliner or anything else. I haven't seen too many makeup brush kits come with that . It is definitely a rarity. I also liked that it has two more slots so that you can add more brushes to the roll. Overall a good buy.

What I didn't like: I wish the eyeshadow brush were a bit poufier so that I can get a good amount of eye shadow on it. Also I won't be using the brow and lash comb very often it is kinds impractical for me. The synthetic bristles on it are too stiff and hard to the touch. Not the best brow and lash comb, there are way better ones out there. The blusher brush is flatter than usual it can be used as a foundation brush. I wish it were poufier.

The lip/concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, and the blusher brush are the ones I will be using the most often I will try some smoky eye looks and see how well the smudger works. Frankly it just looks like an over sized eyeshadow applicator that comes with drugstore eye shadows. For only $7.50 I got three pretty good brushes. The other two aren't that useful to me.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter Review

 What I liked:
smooth
creamy
greasy
moisturizing
thick
container
lasting

What I didn't like:
artifical smelll

I finally have a tub of the Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter. At first I was a bit skeptical it didn't smell amazing and the smell was kinda artificial. It doesn't smell  100%  like coconut. So I tried it and it was good enough and thick. Its made for  very dry skin and is one of TBS's thickest butters with shea being the thickest. So I went with it and applied it all over my body before bed. I liked how smooth it was and how I didn't have to use too much because of its rich and thick consistency. It was easy to apply, very creamy, and a bit greasy for all those really dry parts. I also liked how  it  instantly went to  work. Although I  didn't think the smell was all that great it was sweeter smelling than  the shea butter and more bearable. Its a  good scent to layer other fragrances over it without  it  interfering. So I kept  it. The  body butter  went on a bit greasy and I still felt it the next morning. I don't mind the greasiness. I don't have body acne and  during  the winter my body needs all the moisturizing  it can  get. It's perfect for all those dry and rough spots. I actually prefer it a bit thick and greasy. But it's nothing overbearing. It  lets me know  my skin is protected. This body butter is meant for dry skin. I totally  recommend it. It gets  the job done

Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale Haul/Review 2

So I went back and picked up a few more things. I got 6 items for $20 and a few more makeup items. I really love the lotions I bought. I really love lotion and body creams and butters and am usually very picky but these are totally awesome! These are my absolute favorites

Pure seduction Shimmer Mist: Holy Crap! I love this. For some strange reason it smelled like pineappple to me at first but then I realized that what I was really smelling was a nice blend of plum, freesia, & casaba melon. At first I was a bit worried about how shimmery and shiny it appears but when sprayed its actually not unbearable shimmer it's  actually very subtle and the smell is amazing. This yellow shimmer mist also comes in smells other than pure seduction. It is not meant for moisturizing and mostly consists of alcohol, water, and other chemicals. But it's a smell that totally lasts.

Midnight Kiss Flirty Cranberry and Vanilla body dial-a-shimmer lotion: This is my absolute favorite. This thing is  so cool  it comes  with a built  in dial which lets  you decide how much lotion or shimmer you want the main settings are soft glow  which is  the lotion  and  sexy sparkle which is the shimmer. The dial  lets you choose 100% sparkle,50/50, and 100% glow. You can  adjust it depending on what you want. I love this its  not  your usual safe vanilla smell. Its vanilla with  a twist. The way the product is designed is so much fun and I can't wait to use it this year!. Also love this smell I totally recommend!!

Midnight Kiss Flirty Cranberry and Vanilla body drink lotion: Smells just as great as the dial-a shimmer-lotion except there is no shimmer. This is just straight up lotion. It smells so nice and sweet and sensual. And it has the softness of vanilla with a bit of  the tanginess  of  cranberry. At first I  thought it would smell weird since it is weird mix of scents but  the vanilla really balances out the cranberry. Its so yummy and  fruity. Conditions extremely well  and  softens skin instantaneously. The smell lasts a  while too.

Mango Temptation Ultra  Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream: Excellent for moisturizing skin.  Love the color of the container. It  has a thick consistency and really does what it is supposed to. My skin felt very soft. This  is  great to use right after a shower you skin will drink this immediately. The smell is of mango  its  very sweet. Somewhat artificial but pretty close to actual mango. The smell becomes lighter but actually lasts throughout the day. Also this is a limited edition VS scent.

Mango Temptation Refreshing Body Mist:  Perfect to use right out of the shower or for any other time.  Very fruity. Although it  is  very alcohol based and you need to let the alcohol dry first before you can smell it. But of course  with  any Victoria's   Secret body spray you have to reapply  throughout the day.

Island Waters Ultra Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream: Softer islandy scent. Its pretty fresh scent and its alot softer  than the  mango or  the cranberry vanilla. It conditions well  and is a nice base scent you can layer on top of it if you want to have  a stronger fragrance. I bought this one so I could complete the 6 for 20. It's alright but now my fave. It's limited edition so if you wanna try it out get it now before its too late.

The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter Review

So I decided to get this when The Body Shop was having their 50% off sale. I bought a small 1.6 oz jar to try it out just in case I didn't like it. It is TBS's best smelling body butter. I thought it smelled very nice and sweet but not entirely like real satsuma. In Spanish satsuma is mandarina. They taste so freaking good I had to try this butter. Overall the smell is very  sweet and not strong at all. It moisturized pretty well but  the  smell  faded after a while. I  didn't think it was amazingly  great but I totally recommend it if you love mandarina's and would love to smell  like them.

The Body Shop Shea Butter Review

Holy Crap! I totally was not expecting this when  I ordered this super-sized jar  of Shea butter. This stuff smells bad. Almost like strong cheap men's cologne at first. But then it dies down  after several hours into something sweet smelling. It is very thick and concentrated. It does wonder for VERY DRY SKIN.  Although I am not too sure if I will be keeping this. I might exchange for a better smelling lotion. I know Shea butter is good for the skin But I am not sure if I want to smell like this. It seriously stinks. It might just be old. But I'm giving it back. I do not recommend if you  don't like awful smells but if  you care  more  about it's  deep moisturizing properties go  ahead! Have fun!

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Body Butter Review

I bought this with TBS 50% sale. You had to buy a tote to get all your other purchases at 1/2 off. I  love this! I  bought this in the small 1.6 oz to try it out just in case I didn't  like it and I ended up loving it. The second I applied it to my skin I was mesmerized by how amazingly real and sweet and tangy it smelled. I seriously smells  like you  took a  grapefruit and squeezed the juice onto your skin. It is that real!!! It was really aroused my senses and was just so delicious. I  couldn't stop smelling my skin for hours after then it was so tastefully delightful. I am totally going to buy the larger container. The only thing  that I was disappointed about was the fact that the small  container is very small. It is more like a sampler size, something to carry in your purse, or as a  stocking stuffer.

Too bad these things are kinda pricey. But I'm gonna get it when it's for $10. The consistency is nice and thick but not at all greasy. It moisturizes really well and the smell lasts. Eventually as it settles down it loses the tanginess and becomes more sugary and sweet smelling. But it made my super smooth  and I could totally feel how it was well  moisturized. If you buy the  small container it will not last long so I recommend getting the larger one.

If you aren't really into grapefruit or tangy smells you might think this is a bit strong. But it mellows out really nicely. It is recommended for normal skin. I would definitely recommend it  to anyone who loves citrus scents or anyone who wants to try something new..

Victorias Secret Semi - Annual Sale Haul/ Review.

So I was walking by 34th street and decided to enter VS. I was happy I went because the had alot of sales on bras, makeup, lotion, perfumes, etc. I was glad that they were selling makeup for $1.75. Usually these are sold for $7.00. I also bought several lotions which were listed at 6 for $20. Moreover I bought a few of their lotions for 2.50 each.

Makeup:

VS Beauty Rush Luminous Shadow in Gold School: I how easily this glides on and it is VERY WELL pigmented. I was a bit skeptical so I tested it first on my finger and decided it was a keeper. You don't need to use much of the product you can determine how deep you want the gold tone by spreading it out with your fingers. Damn if it looks this good w/o primer it will look amazing with it!!

VS Beauty Rush Luminous Shadow in Plum Passion: This is a nice purple hue and very well pigmented as well. I like that it is not matte and also not a very deep purple. It is very wearable for day and night. Also it is not a bright purple either. I like how it has this shimmery consistency to it. It is not wet or drippy it is more like crushed minerals in a tube that you apply to your eye. Non-messy. easy to clean. Great buy. Amazing color and pigmentation even w/o primer.

VS Beatuty Rush Wet/Dry Shadow in Peachy Jean: I love this color it is very pretty and light. It comes on like a very light pink. It is not matte it has a shimmery look to it once on the skin. But it is oh-so-cute. Perfect for everyday wear. You can wear this to the office, to hangout, and if you play it up a bit more to the club. I will definitely be wearing this often(daily)!!

VS Beatuty Rush Wet/Dry Shadow in Fade to Black: A shimmery black color that can be augmented and create dramatic eyes using primer. Without the primer it definitely works well as a shadow on your outer v-area. With the primer it is perfect for the club or nigh out. Anywhere you wanna have very dramatic eyes. Also it can be used wet. This adds to the drama and makes it appear darker. Also apply it wet for a shimmery black eye liner.

VS Beatuty Rush Glossy Shinestick in Citrus Sorbet: I love how it glides on like a lighter brown. Perfect for people with naturally coral colored lips who want to add a hint of shine and protection. Very nice consistency it is easy to apply and saturates the lips very well.

VS Beatuty Rush Glossy Shinestick in Mango Tango: Love the smell. How easy it glides on. It tastes a sweet but nothing like mango. But its okay because the mango smell is very fruity and tangy. It glides on mostly clear and leaves a slight hint of color. Very nice consistency it is easy to rub in and saturates the lips very well.

VS Beatuty Rush Lip Gloss in Sweet Glam: I love shimmery this is. If you are somebody who suffers from chapped lips this will hide the crustiness under all that glittery shine. It is not overwhelming though it is a nice fun feminine touch for everyday. DEFINITELY A KEEPER.

VS Beatuty Rush Lip Gloss in Denimberry: This one is similar to the Sweet Glam except it adds a hint of pink color to your lips. GREAT BUY

VS makeup bag: Only $2.50 a great buy. I thought it was kind of small but when I opened it I realized that you can really put a lot of stuff in there. It has the VS logo on the outside in baby pink. Perfect glossy black exterior, baby pink on the inside. Little and spacious. Although I wish it were bigger because I know I'm gonna use it often.

This is my makeup review for now. I will be making a lotion review shortly!

Sephora Ouidad Expert Curl Kit Review

I recently received this curl kit. I have heard many great reviews about Ouidad hair products and salons and decided to give it a try. I was impressed by the process they use which is dividing your hair into sections and applying the products in order to ensure that the products cover the maximum number of hair strands and do their magic. I love that it came with some hair clips that allowed me to keep the hair in place while it dried.

So the process go as follows:

Divide the hair into 4-6 sections.
First apply the moisture lock leave in conditioner by running your fingers through the hair from root to tip and vice verse.
Next the Climate control Gel. Also run your fingers through the hair.
Next scrunch each section of hair. Grabbing it from the ends and squeezing it towards the roots. This brings out your natural curl pattern.
Clip each section up and let air dry. You can also use a blower if you want.
Lastly if you want you can spritz it a bit with the Botanical Boost Moisture Infusing & Refreshing Spray

It worked very well. My cursl were very well defined and not stiff. The products were light weight but very effective. I let mine air-dry. I liked how the curls were more visible and no frizzy at all. I made sure to curl any frizzies in with the natural existing curls to reduce frizz. Overall, great instructions, nice packaging, and very good technique.

It comes with a nice step by step instructions on how to tame your locks. Get them defined. And bouncy. These won't be the long stiff wavs if you follow the directions correctly.

Lady Million- Paco Rabanne Review

Paco Rabanne Lady Million was developed by perfumers Anne Flipo, Beatrice Piquet and Dominique Ropion; the notes include citron, raspberry, neroli, orange flower, jasmine, gardenia, patchouli and honey. It is available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.

Sephora's Description:
Vibrant and sensual, Lady Million is like a voluptuous nectar of flowers. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange and a hint of raspberry reveals the fragrance’s first breath. Smooth and bright, a burst of neroli follows. Then the lethal weapon: heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness then reveals itself, bewitching and demanding all attention. Joining with sambac jasmine and underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal—yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying notes of honey with an addictive and supremely tempting sweetness. Amber endnotes become all enveloping, floating around like a ray of light on a diamond.”

I bought myself this recently as a graduation gift and I was so delighted. It smells so good. It has a somewhat powdery sweet smell but with something a little extra. I couldn't figure it out until I read the ingredients and figured out it had some citrus scents mixed in as well. It's not strong though. But smells so nice for any occassion. Although I do wish it would last longer throughout the day. Some other reviewers might say this smells is similar to the many fruity smells out there already but I love this one. There is something strong and tangy about it at first but then it settles nicely into a powdery scent. This perfume is very sweet, feminine, and young. I love the musky and citrusy undertones. Also its not very heavy it won't remind you of your grandma. Although I wish it were a bit stronger and lasted longer. It's definitely a scent for a younger female.

As the perfume develops, it becomes even softer, gentler and aura-like. This is not a perfume with a sillage but as the perfumers put it with a "presence." It is more of a subtle skin scent which leaves like a cocoon of warmth, amber and honeyed sweetness on the body. The amber manages to feel slightly gourmand in perhaps a less commonly seen way, smelling of burnt caramel, like the crystallized crust of a crème brûlée rather than the cream itself.

Sephora- Tokidoki tote Review

I recently received the toki doki tote from sephora and was a bit let down by how small its actually is. I was hoping it would be bigger. Also it doesn't look like it can hold much. It seems pretty easily breakable if you were to put some heavy grocery items in there. But of course it really is all about what you shop when you go grocery shopping. Although you can use this for light items. And to walk around town. It is good for grocery shopping it looks like a grocery bag. Also I kind of don't like how dull the grey background is for the print. But I do love the theme. It has all its cute characters doing mischievious things such as looting and looking like they are up to trouble. I LOVE IT. Wish it was bigger though. It's a great collectible and it's limited edition!!!

This would be a great gift for anyone who loves TOKI DOKI or a tween or teen. I am selling it for $15 dollars if anyone wants it comment below and we can set up an exchange.
